A site with sports broadcasts and replays?
Hello, I recently created an international site dedicated to sports and now I have one question regarding copyright, namely:
There is an official service that broadcasts sports events, but viewing is only available in Italy. Using VPN, I sometimes broadcast in the Vkontakte group, and also record match replays. The copyright holder is working, so to speak, "in a slipshod manner", i.e. viewing of live broadcasts is available by subscription in FullHD quality, and match replays are available only in SD. On my website, I publish replays in FullHD quality, upload videos to the Vkontakte group or Odnoklassniki.
If somehow foreign copyright holders notice the activity of my site, will it be limited to deleting videos on social networks, or are there any possible legal proceedings? On the Internet, I did not find anything significant regarding this issue, so I decided to ask on this site. Thank you in advance!

Match TV has already filed a lawsuit against illegal broadcasts of matches.
It depends.
It depends on many factors.
What kind of matches, what is their popularity, what kind of group, how many people are in it, do you earn any money on this ...
In extreme cases, proceedings are possible.
In fact, it is strange that you did not find anything on the Internet, because. jurisprudence on the issue of WUA misuse is already well formed.
What you do is called a violation of intellectual property rights and is punishable by a fine of 10,000 rubles. up to 5,000,000 rubles for each violation.
Moreover, you are using the VK or OK service, which since recently, at the request of a representative or court, at the moment give all your data - phone, ip, etc.
The copyright holder receives a phone or ip makes a request to the telecom operator or provider and voila, the defendant (you ) found.
If you ignore the court, then you will be charged in full.
But this is the darkest outcome of your case. It all depends on the desire of the copyright holder)
After all, you can steal apples all your life and never get salt for the sirloin)
So decide for yourself whether the game is worth the candle or not)
The only thing, God forbid you to take materials from the Olympics, FIFA, F1.
These guys are very hard on content.
