A site with authorization and content loading in PHP - how difficult is it?

I'm new to the backend (I'm doing the front myself). I would like to know how difficult it is to make a site with normal authorization (well, there, like cookies are saved so that the user does not have to re-enter data) and loading content from users (pictures, for example). I really want to try to do this.
Advise what you need to learn / read / watch on the topic. Is it difficult?

How difficult? The basic logic, if pure PHP, is done quickly. What you indicated in terms of functionality, if you write from scratch, then half a day is a day.
