A simple clip-protection program for files?
It’s somehow not kosher to set a password on WinRar in the 21st century, advise a simple program to protect individual files, folders from users of the “advanced admin” level (we will not consider the FSB, CIA and the theory of a worldwide conspiracy here).
I heard about MyLockbox, then on a friend's laptop I saw some kind of built-in encryption program from asus, but I'm worried about how to decrypt data when transferred to another PC.

PGP Desktop from sumantek or a free alternative to GPG.
PGP Desktop can use free functionality (this is just file encryption), everything else is paid. The interface is simple, the most difficult thing is generating keys and exchanging public keys, the encryption/decryption process itself is done in 2 clicks. To download you need to register on the site.
GPG, when I last saw it, was not very "user friendly", what now, I don't know.
