A simple 3D environment editor like minecraft?
Hello. Now I am engaged in robotics, namely the Robotino robot.
In this regard, I want to create environments for it to test recognition algorithms from the camera. I don’t want to bother with the real environment, so I decided to use simulators.
The free simulator for this robot let me down a lot, not allowing me to somehow change the environment.
Therefore, I started looking for alternatives where you can throw in a simple environment and take a screenshot, as if from the robot's camera. On that screenshot, I will test the algorithms.
Here is a screenshot from the simulator:
I want to get something similar, but with the ability to simply change the environment.
I would use minecraft but it's too cubic.
PS Sorry, I've never dealt with 3D graphics before, I suspect that all this can be done with 3d max or blender, but it seems to me that there may be simpler tools, specifically for this task.
PSS Maybe you can use the map editor for some game?

blender, there is nothing particularly complicated, moreover, there is a nice python (scripts), and game editors will not work right away, they have their own specifics.
