A router with a built-in 4G module or an external usb modem, is there a difference?

If a 4g module is already integrated into the modem, is it somehow different from external usb modems yota, megaphone?
Is power, communication stability, in general, hardware and everything else better in built-in ones?
Or does it matter?

There is a difference - if the router dies, you will have to buy a second one that is not cheap. In the case of separate ones, it's easier to buy a separate router or a separate 3g modem.
