A problem book on system programming in C under Linux?

Decided to learn system programming. Therefore, I read one simple book, then I still read the manuals from the Linux documentation. I find different functions and possibilities of programming in C under Linux for "Processes", "Threads", "Inter-Process Communication", "Drivers", etc. The book is good, but there are no assignments. I'd like to get some practice. Can you suggest some sites or problem books for practice or recommend some projects to complete. Thank you.
