Hi all!
Made from a home computer - the server on which the site and mail (hMail) are placed.
The site contains several pages and a feed with articles.
I need to do the following:
1) there is a subscription button on the site
2) when you click on the button, a form is displayed asking you to enter your mail.
3) if the user entered the mail and confirmed it, then notifications about the release of a new post should be sent to this mail.

I myself have already researched this issue, but did not find what I need.
There are plugins on the network with user registration: creating an account, uploading a picture, and so on. All this is not necessary. It is necessary to simplify registration as much as possible and limit yourself only to indicating the mail and confirming it. And yes, of course it should be possible to unsubscribe from the mailing list.
