Guys, who can help me? Such a situation: there is a fairly recent HP laptop with a deleted recovery partition (from which Windows is installed). On the bottom of the laptop is a sticker with a license number for "Windows 7 Home Prem OA". Initially, the laptop was intended for the German market. At the moment, all partitions have been deleted, the hard drive has been repartitioned.

Question: how can I install licensed Windows (English version) on it? Those. apply this license number and activate? Is it possible to download the original copy somewhere (where?) and enter this license key? Will it work like that?

PS In HP technical support they told me to contact the service center. This option has not yet been considered for certain reasons.

Download from torrents the original image of Home Premium, install, enter the key.
I did this with Win XP Home on a netbook.
