Zoom - how does it work? Is it difficult to make a mini analogue?

Zoom brings the quality of communication during conferences. How difficult it is to create a similar application, for example, within one small educational institution. Number of users - approx. 1500. Yes, it’s clear that it’s impossible to rivet a service on the knee, but how many investments (financial, temporary, etc.) are needed for at least an MVP? What do you need to know and be able to do?

Raise your Jitsi Meet server . It unfolds easily in the docker, works well (there were difficulties with recording the video when I last picked it, but the developers fixed something there ..)

"Mini analogue of Zoom" does not mean anything. First, you create a technical specification, where you describe everything in detail, and on its basis you can already make estimates.
PS or yes, you use ready-made solutions

Have you tried analogs of Zoom?
Google has its own analogue, I don’t remember the name, but even with a weak Internet it gave excellent quality and did not interrupt
