Zenfone5 - how to disable the case sensor?

ZenFone 5, A501CG
After bathing the body, the sensor (magnetic?) of the branded case failed. The phone thinks that the case is closed and shows only what is visible in the round window in the lid. Those. neither unlock nor get into settings to disable. Disabling definitely helps (the sensor did not immediately die). Flashing - does not help (case detection is enabled by default).
How to disable work with a branded cover without using the GUI? Through adb? Edit the firmware before uploading? The main thing is where to look in these cases.
UPDATE:
Where I found the sensor, I can turn it off. The problem is that it's not the sensor that's the problem. Apparently somewhere the contact is lost, because. when the sensor is not working, 2 of the three touch buttons are also cut off (it only works "back"). So the bottom board (subboard) is under replacement.

I think it's worth digging towards xposed and its modules. It is better, of course, to disassemble and dry. Over time, contacts, tracks, etc. will begin to oxidize. It may stop working altogether.

Where is the hall sensor located? The smartphone fell, now it seems to be always in a case, I want to unsolder the sensor.
