Zenbook ux32vd, touchpad tweaks?
Hello!
On the new laptop, I want to configure the touchpad so that it is convenient to use it. Now all available settings are a couple of checkboxes in Asus Smart Gesture and the standard "Mouse" docker from the control panel. About nothing.
What I want to configure:
1) disable the scroll "by inertia";
2) dynamic sense for scrolling (the faster you move with two fingers, the more you end up scrolling);
3) limit the sensor field so that it does not go to the hardware buttons RMB and LMB;
4) the sense of zooming in with a pinch (so that one small movement does not turn everything into hell, but you can gently increase / decrease by a couple of points).
Are there any special drivers or utilities for such fine tuning? As a result of googling, I found only three options for firewood for the touchpad: synaptic, elan, and standard. Synaptic does not get up, it seems, because the touchpad is not synaptic. Elan and standard settings do not differ from each other. :(
I'm very used to the touchpad on my last laptop (acer 3820tg), but it's completely inconvenient here.
Oh yes, the OS is Windows 8.1 (horror), if it matters.
PS: there is also an idea to install ubuntu, who knows if there are good drivers with such subtle settings for the Zenbook touchpad there?
