Zabbix does not send notifications, why?

The bottom line is this: There is a user in Zabbix who has all rights, when an error occurs, an action appears, but the state of this action is first "In progress", after three attempts I get "Unsuccessful" Timeout was reached: Connection timed out after 40001 milliseconds

cat /var/log/zabbix/zabbix-server.log

Configured notification methods on port 465 smtp.gmail.com Checked the
mail, login, password are correct.
I would be grateful for any help.

The error says that zabbix cannot reach the server. Which daemon sends letters on the system? mail from the system can send emails?
Although, for starters, I would advise changing the port to 587.
