I have the same crap now, a 4G megaphone literally two days ago YouTube opens and the videos don’t seem to work, but if the video is posted on another site, it works fine. ...
that's what I dug up until the campaign riot soon lenta.ru/news/2014/03/07/akado
In general, I don’t know what it was, but at the moment everything worked as before !!!
If someone still doesn’t open videos, then I used YouTube like this
native link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oigm_NERQdM - which does not work,
correct link https://www.youtube.com /v/oigm_NERQdM --working link, remove "watch?" and put "/" instead of "="
In the video settings, you can choose to view on YouTube and watch as usual on YouTube.
Good luck to all

It's hard to say something right off the bat.
Please provide screenshots from other browsers.
What provider?
(Give a screen of the page http://internet.yandex.ru/ )
Whois reports:
83.149.36.0 - 83.149.39.255
Ural Branch of OJSC MefaFon, GPRS pool 2.
83.149.36.0/22
Ural Branch of OJSC MegaFon GPRS/UMTS Network, Pool 3.
The admins of the megaphone clearly do not think that you have 4G +. ;-)
And if this is not already becoming a good old tradition of bending, humiliating and wiping your feet on "clients" by all sorts of (especially local) monopolists, then.

Oh yes, I don't know if it has any connection, but about 3 days ago I installed the SafeIP program, which serves to change the IP. I used it once and deleted it immediately.
Perhaps some settings and changes in the SafeIP system could be left.
Try to open the video in a normal browser (for example, firefox, clean installation without additional settings and add-ons) using the direct link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oigm_NERQdM, note that it is https.

Well, in other browsers, the same thing, exactly - exactly. Provider Magafon 4G+. YouTube has always worked, 2 days ago this happened. Checked by Dr. Web CureIT and Nod32. Didn't reveal anything.

The advice from here helped me - forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?id=16:44509
Links from the embedded player to other resources lead to the http version, which gives the connection reset. If you change to https - everything immediately shows fine.
Who exactly did this - Megafon or Google - is unclear. But for reliability, in the "Personal Account" on the Megafon website, it is worth disabling their infamous "Traffic Optimization".

Faced a similar problem. The issue is solved by simply replacing http with https.
I wrote a small plugin for chrome that does this automatically if you open the video in a new tab or by clicking on the plugin icon. And here about how to stick a plugin in chrome.
