I am using the pytube library to download YouTube videos. But one fine moment, all requests to YouTube began to return an HTTP Error 429: Too Many Requests error. After 8 hours nothing has changed. There were no spam requests.
What to do?

Setaz213 , no one will tell you how long to wait. Criteria for detecting unscrupulous users cannot be public, since once published they will be used immediately to set up scripts so that they are not blocked. Read the documentation for the restrictions imposed by the API. Use proxy lists to avoid final blocking when experimenting.
If you are using an API that you are not supposed to use (that is, there is no documentation and no public restrictions at all), then study how often this API is pulled by standard software.
