You need to scale the landing page into the site (add a blog, headings, pages). I want to switch to Divi WordPress Page Builder. Is it worth it?

Good afternoon everyone! I ask for help and advice in choosing a website builder.

Now we have a landing page, but the project has grown, we need to add a blog, portfolio and other pages there. The landing page builder is no longer suitable for these tasks. You need to make a complete website. As of today, I settled on Divi WordPress Page Builder.

I will describe in more detail the flour of choice.

I'll start with the backstory. We have been creating websites for our organization since 2011. The main site: www.segment.by was redesigned three times - first it was on Joomla, and then, when we realized the importance of promotion on the Internet, since 2020, it was redesigned twice on WordPress (since 2020, I began to delve into Internet marketing and his instrumentation). There were difficult relationships with contractors and in the end I did not get what I wanted. The site remained unfinished and I want to redo a lot of things, but I can’t do this without the participation of the developer. I came to the conclusion that it is easier for me to redo it completely again, myself.

As a result, I myself began to delve into the topic of site building and now we have come to such a strategy in relation to web resources (hereinafter I will call these points requirements):

1. The site must be created and maintained without the involvement of third-party specialists. A marketer (in this case, for the time being, I) must be able to quickly design and launch a site (rather, it refers to a landing page), as well as make prompt changes to it and fill it (without involving developers). This requires a clear constructor that a non-specialist can work with. Although it is clear that seeking help is not excluded, but this should not develop into dependence on a specialist (i.e., the issue is training, not addicting to services and services).
2. The site must be under our control (located on our hosting), i.e. constructors linked to the monthly fee are no longer available.
3. The constructor should allow you to create many sites and landing pages. We have many projects, we are growing and we are promoting each of them separately (more on this below).
4. High loading speed and adaptability
5. Not tied to annual obligatory payments for using the designer

About six months ago, I challenged myself: to learn how to make up websites and launch them without the participation of a programmer and web designer, and began to look for a solution. Alteration of the site segment.by was not and is not yet a priority, the most important thing is to launch new projects. And for this at that time there were enough landings.

In the end, I settled on the free Mobirise tool. He completely solved my problems and tasks on the above points (but in the matter of creating landings and multi-landings). I quickly mastered it and launched the following landing pages:

However, projects are starting to grow, first of all, https://family-books.art/ . Now the task is to launch new sections (Blog, Media about us, Description of cases), and the Mobirise constructor is not intended for layout of more complex sites.

The question arose of scaling the https://family-books.art/ project , and for this I need to find a website builder that meets our requirements. In the future, it is necessary to remake the segment.by site, as well as work with other projects for which new sites will be created.

As a result of my searches and the experience gained (rather stuffed bumps), I settled on Wordpress and, in particular, on the Divi theme. It seemed to me that it fully satisfies our requirements listed above.

But since I would like to resolve the issue with the constructor once and for all (for years, at least 10 years), so as not to return to this topic again, I would still like to consult with experts whether Divi meets my expectations (the requirements listed above).

Did I make the right choice? Or should other options be considered?
Well, we can highlight some of the most painful doubts:

- Speed - will the site slow down? for information - we are connected to the plan of Wordpress hosting. All other points of requirements, Divi, seem to withstand
- Will there be enough expertise and instructions available on the Russian-language Internet for an independent full-fledged development of this tool? I see that there is a lot in the English-speaking sector, but I'm afraid not to master it, because. I am a humanist and all this is given to me through a lot of work. If in the Russian sector I can rely on something or someone (including, I hope, on you), then I learn quickly. But in an English-speaking environment, it is not always clear how to formulate a question. This is difficult for me, but rather impossible.
I don’t want to uselessly waste a lot of time mastering the wrong tool (plus, you need to pay $ 250 for the constructor itself).
For example, I watched a video course on Divi ( https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrZ36o0cnx9pQ9d...), everything seems to be clear, but there are some missed, but important questions for creating a multi-pager, for example, how to create a common section page and link pages to it (for example: https://segment.by/izdat-knigu/ or https:/ /segment.by/portfolio/ )? Perhaps there will be other pitfalls in the process. Although I mastered Mobirise quickly, it is much simpler.

Thank you!

@PH_Segment

I met very decent sites built with the help of Divi WordPress Page Builder... in terms of performance, there is practically no difference whether the site was made manually or
otherwise.. One of the problematic moments was the transfer of the site to another domain.. I had to suffer.
The main plus is that to create a site you do not need to know the layout and be a programmer, etc. everything is done in a visual mode.
minus - you will not be able to add something to the site that is not in the Builder

(for example: https://segment.by/izdat-knigu/ or https://segment.by/portfolio/ )?

I didn’t work with cms, but the issue of individual pages is solved by banal routing, when on the server side, the request is processed and what is needed is rendered. Redirection is commonplace. In addition, you will need to think over the structure of the database and their relationship if you want to create a profile for the user there. If you want extensibility, then generally zababahat documentation. In addition, if you are directly meticulous, you can take care of the issue of security and data integrity, but it seems to me that all this is already superfluous. I did not work with cms and in the answers they can water me.
