You need an extension that opens the link in a new tab if you hold down the click

Hold click on the link - the link opens in a new tab. I heard that there is such an extension, but I can not find it. Browsers: Firefox, Chrome.

In chrome, you can drag the link to the tab bar, then it will open in a new one.

Under Chrome, writing such an extension is a matter of five minutes. Are you not interested in doing it yourself?

A bit different from what you asked for for Opera:
addons.opera.com/addons/extensions/details/open-in-background-with-long-press/

You can write a userjs script, it's faster than an extension. For FF and Chrome it will work.
