Yota Jingle on Linux or OS X?

Does anyone have experience pairing a Yota Jingle 4G modem with any OS other than MS Windows?
Internet search results are not encouraging :(

does not work. Use SWC-U200, the price difference is negligible. Well, or already go to the next level - use a router .

Doesn't work because no drivers are written? Or are there some other objective (technological, constructive, hardware?) obstacles for the operation of this modem in non-Windows?
