YITH Ajax Product Filter not working in custom theme, what should I do?

There is a theme in which Woocommerce is installed. The goal is to filter products without reloading the page. I install the YITH AJAX Product Filter plugin, but AJAX does not work, presumably because I need to somehow attach the plugin to the Woocommerce folder in the theme itself.
