Yii gii does not see Russian text, what to do?

Today I decided to tinker with Yii for the first time and already stumbled, so don’t judge strictly
. In general, I created a database in sqlite, connected it in the config, then made it accessible through gii, everything is like in mana. There is access, everything is fine, but the Russian text is not displayed at all, even if you make a new entry through the built-in web interface, it is also not displayed. There are no problems with English text, but Russian is not displayed at all. But nevertheless, if you connect to the same file with the database via sqlite3 on the command line and do select, then the Russian text is visible perfectly.
