Yii 2 is out, is it worth learning Yii 1.1 now?

Because for Yii 2 there is little documentation and information in general.

There are a lot of projects on Yii 1.1, and given the complexity of migration, most of them will remain on 1.1.
Therefore, studying 1.1 has little practical meaning, although there is much more sense in studying the second version.
There is enough documentation for the second part, there are even several books.

Yii2 is not recommended for use in production, yii 1 will be supported for a very long time, in my opinion until 2016

Not many people know, so I'll put it here.
The documentation is written in Russian, so it is not on the site, but there is already a lot of information and it is available on github at the link: https://github.com/yiisoft/yii2/tree/master/docs/g...

On the one hand, it is worth it, because there are many projects on it, on the other hand, no, many projects began to write on Yii2 even before its release. Depends on what you plan to do (support and development of old ones, or writing new ones). Many people port their projects from yii1 to yii2.

We started doing one project on yii2 when there was no release yet, the project was successfully launched and works well. At that time, of course, the documentation was not yet complete, but there were no special problems.
