Yandex search query language: date query not working?

For some reason, the date:> YYYYMMDD operator in the Yandex request does not work in any way.
Very old and new articles are mixed up, I can’t understand what’s the matter.
Tell me, please, has something changed?
Is there some way to correctly filter search results for, say, only the last two years?
I always choose Answer-Solution, thanks in advance.
