Yandex Maps: Is it worth using ObjectManager with a small number of objects?

There can be 50 companies on the map, or maybe > 1000. Is it worth using the ObjectManager for a small number of objects at once, which is designed for large volumes. Wouldn't this be "cannon shooting at sparrows"?
(I don't need edit and drag mode)
