Yandex maps: how to work without brakes through WebView?

Hello.
I use maps api for web project and as part of android app via WebView.
On android devices, serious brakes are noticed when working with the map and the maps themselves take a long time to load.
I understand that working through WebView is a kind of "crutch", but what are the alternatives to using yandex maps on android without additional. libraries and long agony of integration, etc.?
How can you speed up or facilitate the loading and interaction process?
Is it possible to load and work with some "light" version of maps, where there are only roads and houses, like Google maps?

There is a native library (but it is old), but Yandex recommends using webview
