Xamarin underrated top?

I want to write an application of such a scale as, for example, NeuroNation (that is, a regular text-based application inside which are simple 2D games supposedly developing the brain). The only thing that scares me is that I can’t do this on Xamarin, because it is not used much, and probably not in vain.
Question: Is it possible to write "NeuroNation" in Xamarin?

Yes, it's possible. I wrote simple games, but when I took up point-by-point processing of input from the screen (drawing), everything was very bad. But even then I think this is due to the fact that it was necessary to use sish libraries, and not count such things on a sharp.
