X11 32-bit on Mac OS X 64-bit

Can anyone tell me if X11 for Snow Leopard 32-bit runs on Snow Leopard 64-bit if just copied?

In Snow Leopard, the 32-bit kernel is loaded by default:
Darwin blah.blah 10.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 10.4.0: Fri Apr 23 18:28:53 PDT 2010; root:xnu-1504.7.4~1/RELEASE_I386 i386 i386
This does not prevent both 32 and 64-bit applications from working safely. I have never experimented with X, but I think that everything will work.

Snow Leopard doesn't have separate editions for x32 and x64. Therefore, X11 is the same there.
PS I'd rather install from the installation disk.
