wysiwyg Markdown Editor

I'm looking for a lightweight wysiwyg Markdown editor. Advise, please, interesting options.

What you need from the editor:

  • site style support
  • hotkeys
  • intuitive behavior
  • uses jQuery, Highlight.js, HTML 5 (content editable, local storage, etc)
  • output sane markdown markup
  • any license. can be paid

Ideally, it should look something like this:

PS I have a fairly clear idea of what should happen in the end, but I'm not mentally ready to write it myself (there is no time for a bicycle). From what I found / used , Redactor turned out to be the closest , but it is not at all about markdown.

I use MarkitUP ( Website ). As for the content editable, I can’t say, the rest is there. Even if something is missing, it is often easier to finish what is available than to write your own from scratch.

Wandered here from a search engine, although the question is old, but relevant.
I found these options for myself:

Check out Aloha editor . Satisfies most of your requirements, but not markdown. True, it is still possible to convert the HTML received from the editor to Markdown on the server before saving.
