Writing an application in Java EE + spring?
Good evening everyone.
I have recently become interested in programming, please direct me to the right path, for which many thanks in advance.
For example, you need to write an application (web) let there be a small portal / forum, topics, registration, mailing list and other little things.
The choice fell on Java EE, Spring, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL.
As for the installation of the development environment, server administration, postregas, apatch, there are no questions. It even turns out to make a standard hello world + simple site registration forms.
I'm more interested in how mb to break it all into blocks i.e. user registration top right, topics in the middle of the page? And the design itself, how to write themes for such applications.
PS Throw at me suitable literature and the most important examples ready-made, which you can feel in practice.

Your question is from the series "how to drive a car?".
Check out the guides and screencasts. Read about MVC, HMVC, templating.
But in general, IMHO, you are trying to get into a full stack without knowing each area in detail.
And yes, why Java? In 2017 then... There are JS, Go, PHP after all; even a pancake ASP ... But the master's business of course ...
