Wrist pulse lie detector

I got the idea to collect a bracelet that will glow if its owner is lying.

Actually:
1. Where can I read information about this?
2. How reliable is this method? More reliable voices?

I'm afraid it will not be a lie detector, but a rapid pulse detector.
1. It is possible to lie without changing the pulse
2. The pulse may quicken on its own
3. The pulse may quicken when a person tells the truth ("too bitter" - afraid of a reaction or "sweet" - looking forward to a reaction)
4. All sorts of stimuli can affect the pulse regardless of what the person says. The aroma of perfume used by a beloved woman, for example, "brought it with the wind." Familiar sound. Unexpected pain in the body, etc.

- Well, for example, she twirls around him, does not know how to express her love for him, and instead of gratitude, he reaches into his pocket and takes out a portable lie detector. He presses a button, on the scoreboard, of course, lights up: “Lie!” Letochka, of course, in tears ... So you can imagine what it turned out to be? .. It turned out that this is not a detector at all! He made it himself: a battery, a light bulb, a button and a window with the word “Lie!” But she didn't know that...

I would advise you to read Paul Ekman's book The Psychology of Lies to broaden your horizons . There are some very interesting tricks and ideas. + there is written a lot about polygraphs and efficiency with specific real examples and statistics.

No device will tell you that a person is lying. The device can show what physiological reactions in the subject's body occur in response to communication with the researcher. And the change in heart rate is only one of the few indicators. The book of Paul Ekman has already been mentioned above, if you briefly summarize its content, then you will not be able to use a device for detecting lies by pulse

The pulse sensor is usually infrared, but it is not hung on the wrist, but on the fingertip and works through the light. This time. It's just that the pulse rate will not tell you anything, a normal polygraph takes a bunch more parameters - these are two. Moreover, the polygraph test subject is required to be completely immobile, and 90% of testing success is the skill of the operator who prepares the questions and interprets the sensor readings. It's two and a half.
Lie detection by voice, as far as I know, was carried out by only one serial device, and the results of its tests are very contradictory, so there is nothing to compare with. It's three.
Better assemble an arrhythmia detector.

There will still be a bunch of wires and two hefty batteries ... (humor with some truth)
With high accuracy, the pulse will be difficult to catch. I would advise contacts on your fingertips. Surely, everyone has heard that when a person lies, he sweats, especially on the fingertips. Then Ohm's law. Somewhere I saw literature on the Internet, but I can’t immediately remember it. If I find it, I'll post it.
