Hello! What will be relevant in 2021, WPF or UWP?

I don't know much about graphical user interfaces myself. I want to try to write a program or a widget for Windows 10 in C# with an interface, but not simple white windows, etc., but with a modern design. What is better to use for this? If not difficult - I would like to get a detailed answer. Thank you!

• There is another difference between UWP and WPF in the application lifecycle . UWP application is not exactly the same as WPF.
  
• UWP is dominated by page mode. Everything is based on transitions between pages.
  
• UWP apps are installed from the Microsoft Store.
  
• UWP apps require you to enable different permissions for the app.
