WPA3, wi-fi 6, wireless network PCI-E adapter?
Good afternoon. When building a network house, I do not want to lay wires.
In this regard, a couple of ideas with a WI-FI network appeared.
I have a Gigabyte GA-Z68P-DS3 motherboard (no m.2 slots) processor i5 2500k OS Windows 10 Pro 20H2.
As I understand it, it is possible to connect a PCI-express board based on an intel ax200/ax201/ax210 chip, so there are questions about this.
1) Do I need processor compatibility with such modules? if yes, how to check it?
2) How to check WPA3 support (as I understood from the specification here , here and here WPA3 support is indicated). But if the chip is soldered to a PCI-e board, then how can you find out if this protocol is supported?
3) I saw the information that Win 10 seems to still have support for this specification (but it seems like the latter does), how to check where to look?
4) Do you have recommendations for PCI-e cards to solve my problem?
PS
The router decided to choose HUAWEI WiFi AX3 (Quad-core)
