Is this menu usable for the mobile version of the site? The menu is not the main one, but just for selecting categories or something else. The main navigation is hidden in the floating menu, and I want to use this option for pages with categories, so as not to shove everything into the floating menu and save space on the page.

First of all, I would like to see the site itself, its subject, for what purposes these categories will be used and in what place. Here, many will say "of course yes" or "of course not", but this will not be useful information for you, since no one knows the details of the project.
Always stick to the rule: the less the user needs to think, the better, and after that, open your layout, and simplify it by 2 times.
