Working with sound in C#/.NET?

Hello, the idea arose to write a simple audio player in C #, and the question arose, are there classes for this in .NET or WPF? I know about SoundPlayer, but I need .mp3, and there is only .wav, I heard about Microsoft.DirectX.Audio but could not find anything, neither in the documentation nor in other places
