Working with OWL ontologies in C#?

With the help of OwlDotNetApi I am trying to work with an OWL ontology (designed in Protegé) in C#. There is no sensible documentation, all that was found helped me only connect the ontology file itself to the project. I can’t figure out how to “communicate” with it, in particular, I’m interested in adding new instances and inference. If anyone has experience/acquaintances/resources that can help, I would be immensely grateful!
