Offered a job in a startup (Germany). Tell me how to assess the prospects of a startup, what questions to ask the owners. It is clear that you need to know your benefits, I'm not talking about that. Questions can be something like this:
- how much income this company brings
- the ratio of income / expenses

- how did the introduction of new features affect this dynamics
In general, the point is to try to imagine that you yourself are the owner of all this, and you need to answer the question:
If you had to hire someone like you, would it be profitable for you?
As long as it's profitable, no one gets fired.

There is no way you will know if they will close or not, I agreed, I appreciated the interestingness of the project + the technologies with which I would have to work and decided that this was a great chance to practice. Well, if something does not work out, then I will always find a standard job in the office =) So if you are interested in a project or a lot of money, why not?

If the word “work” appears in the context of the sentence, then it is just work. You do business and you get paid for it. In this case, work in a startup is understood as a working environment: Close relationships with the team, area of ​​responsibility, fancy office, etc. If you like it, then why not agree.
If I offer you a job for a share or a sweet agreement, then think about your possibilities yourself. How long can you last without a paycheck, and for what? Working in a startup is an awesome experience and a great chance to get rich. If you like the topic and you believe in the idea, then you should agree. First, offer to work part time, and work most of the time at a regular job.
Questions I would like to ask:
1. Does the project have funding?
2. What is the development plan?
3. What are the terms of cooperation?

Evaluate the idea that you will embody, will it work? will it be in demand?
Well, even if the guys from Germany score, and you have the desire to do it, then you can find new guys for the team.
