Wordpress inside Bitrix?

Good afternoon!
The site is powered by 1cBitrix. There is a task to work with news and a blog. We decided, since the entire site cannot be touched, then put wordpress inside 1sBitrix (in a separate directory) - /blog
Do you think it is safe?
And is it possible to make it safe?

Kind.
It is not very clear why this should be unsafe.
Take WordPress, the theme and plugins from official sources, set up the right permissions on the server, and keep up to date. Set strong passwords and keep them secret.
Actually, the same recommendations apply to any other system, including 1C Bitrix.

Only one question "Why"?
No, it's not at all safe. WP in general is one huge hole, before you have time to look back, how a bunch of malicious code will fill the entire server.

First of all, it is extremely unsafe. Secondly, Bitrix has its own blogs. If you need a separate design, but this is solved by installing a separate site template for a section. The rights to set up so that you can work with the blog and it was impossible with the rest of the site - no problem.
And 2 systems in one folder are always bad. Especially when 1 of them is full of holes like WP.
