Won't DigitalOcean ever lock us all up?

Everyone says that it is necessary to transfer projects abroad hosted. Generally true.
I was about to sign up for DO recently. As everyone knows, to start using this great VPS hosting, you need to add your credit card and deposit a minimum of $5.
But the card is not added just like that - DO also needs to specify the country, phone number, house, street, first name and last name.
But, okay, so it is with everyone. But a step to the left, a step to the right - and they immediately ban.
If, when adding a card, there is at least one inconsistency (the credit card does not match the selected country, the phone number does not match the selected country, the IP does not match the selected country) - then there is a chance that an unpleasant window will pop up "You were banned, haha" (free translation).
For example, I was banned when I tried to add my virtual US card (it was $ 10, I wanted to write off everything somewhere)
However, to hell with it all. Be law-abiding, indicate the correct data - and there will be happiness.
However, as we all know, not so long ago, the world-famous freelance exchange Odesk banned all freelancers from Crimea. habrahabr.ru/post/246637
Just banned their precious accounts. So, turning on *paranoia*, is it possible to think that something similar (God forbid) will happen at DO?

If the Cold War starts or something like that, they might get banned, the company is based in the USA, after all.
Back up to an external server.

Are you afraid that you will be banned for "political reasons", but do not care that the hosting will just shut down on its own? I keep only non-critical services in the singular, everything that has at least some importance should be duplicated, including by different hostings. Thank God at the current stage of technology development, this is not a problem. In addition to DO, I use runabove - they are cheaper and have many interesting features that DO does not have.
