What tool (for a novice programmer) can be used to write a game in C? I didn't find it in the search engine.

I note that writing a game in C is a bad idea.

Required minimum: text editor, compiler, linker. All together is called IDE. Additional: hands.sys, brains.sys, debugger, documentation.
