With knowledge of ASP.NET Core, can I use ASP.NET MVC 5 without any problems?

I read about the fact that ASP.NET MVC 5 is already outdated, they say everyone is now using ASP.NET Core. It became interesting, I looked at vacancies in Moscow and realized that ASP.NET MVC 5 is currently used more. I would like to know what it is connected with? After all, ASP.NET Core should have gained momentum and replaced ASP.NET MVC 5, so what's the deal? There are fewer vacancies, although an improved platform should have more profit. Maybe we need to wait more? Is it expensive to redo projects? Or do people just want to support ASP.NET MVC 5? Like Microsoft wrote long ago that Core is the future. And what is the result? Now it has become even more difficult to make a choice (( And yet, I would like to know if I can use ASP.NET MVC 5 without any problems, if necessary, with the knowledge of ASP.NET Core?

There is a very big difference between ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC 5.
ASP.NET Core is many times easier and more convenient, which is easily done on ASP.NET Core in ASP.NET MVC 5, it takes time and ingenuity.
