Can you tell me if it is possible to run Windows XP Mode under Windows 8? If yes, please explain how. At the moment, the problem is that I am not allowed to download without authentication, and I can’t go through it because I use Windows 8 ... Google somehow doesn’t spits out anything intelligible on this topic.

In theory, you can also download it on the root tracker (search for "windows xp mode"). As a virtual machine, at least it will work.
