Quite unexpectedly, I ran into a compatibility problem between Windows server 2012 and Adaptec 1045 SAS controllers.
The situation is as follows:

Win 2012 St
server 2 adaptec 1045 SAS controllers are installed on the server A 2
-drive tape library is connected to the controllers
The latest drivers from the site are installed.

When the connection to the library is disabled, all norms are loaded.


When connecting SAS cables, it hangs on the boot.

Before that, there was 2003 x64 - there were no such problems.

Firmware bios controllers latest? Are they on the HCL Srv 2012 list?
At one time, I also suffered with a couple of streamers, until I updated the motherboard bios on the hardware server and the streamers themselves, the backup system did not want to work in any way.
