"Windows Administration" is too broad a term. It is unlikely that a Helpdesk employee will be allowed in.
Now this is a bunch of very large training areas - AD, Exchange, IIS, SQL, SharePoint, PowerShell, ISA / TMG / ForeFront, Dynamics, SCCM, Hyper-V and a bunch of other well-known and used technologies.
Therefore, I still recommend deciding what you want to do and in what area and do, for example, labs at MS Virtual Academy on relevant technologies, MS Learning, mentioned above, usergroup sites with videos, castes techdays.ru/.ua and etc. — there are a lot of them and subscribe to mailing lists of events in your city/country, watch webcasts, ask questions and come to seminars

Select a course in the Microsoft Learning portal and view the list of books to prepare.
Theoretically, the Talmud from Russinovich may come in handy, but this is already aerobatics.

Agree with the previous commenter. Specify which area of administration you are interested in, as well as the level (beginner, advanced, etc.).

About topics: Windows Server, AD (and everything connected with it), PowerShell. This is the main thing that I myself study. Can you tell me that, for example, in order to effectively use PowerShell / AD (or the like), one should get acquainted with such a topic / such a product.
For seminars, articles, newsletters, webcasts, courses, etc. this is all understandable and good, but I'm asking about books.
As for the level, I always find it difficult to determine my level. I just don’t know how it’s done ... well, since you’re asking, let it be average :)
