Windows 8.1 freezes after some time after startup?

At first I noticed this for Windows 10. Now for windows 8.1 ...

If you do a Hard reset / reboot, then after starting the system gives a few seconds to press the shutdown button or it will freeze tightly. I don't always succeed. You have to do a hard reset five times. And scary for the laptop. What to do?

Boot from a flash drive, check the memory and disk, file system, perform a system restore using dism and sfc, if all this does not help, then bring it to the workshop, 90% that is an iron problem.
If all of the above sounds too complicated - contact a specialist.

Diagnostics.
First, determine whether it is software or hardware that creates problems.
Run the LiveCD distribution and check.
And then diagnose hardware - disk, memory, motherboard, peripherals.

What's so terrible?
