Windows 7 - why is the external IP not being pinged?
When I try to ping an IP address on OS Windows 7, I get Request timeout and 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss. The pinged machine (Win XP) is located in the same city, but is connected through a different provider.
At the same time, it pings from two other machines (Ubuntu and Mac OS).
What can prevent OS Windows 7 from seeing this IP? Firewall turned off, turned on, does not help.
