Good day, dear Habr users. I decided to reinstall Windows, they said that LTSC from Lex_6000 is the fastest build of the OS. I downloaded, installed everything seems to be fine, but the internal Windows search (WSearch) does not work. I searched on different portals, I found only that there was no way to return the search in this assembly just like that, since it was cut out. So the question is, how can you get Windows Search back? The services seem to be all-inclusive, there are search icons, but if you click on the icon from the taskbar, nothing happens. I would like to help as much as possible. Thanks in advance!

The situation is certainly sad, the assembly turned out to be a piece of shit, half of the Windows components were cut out. Already switched to the original LTSC.

1. Download ISO image of original Windows 10
   
2. Install
   
3. Install drivers and updates
   
4. And no longer install OS builds "from Vasyan"
   

PS here's the thing - different authors of assemblies always cut and "optimize" something, and diagnosing such glitches is not worth the time spent since the days of "XP Game Edition", which was once set supposedly to increase performance in games / save PC resources.

If you need speed and a minimum of telemetry, then install the official Windows 10 Enterprise. Quietly buy the key on eBay for 100 - 200 rubles. and there will be official Windows, guaranteed to be free of viruses, fast and with a minimum of telemetry, since the Enterprise version is tougher with this.
