Will working with graphic files via a local network affect the speed of the graphic editor?
There are three computers and I want to make centralized storage of graphic files on one (conditionally a server), and on the other two (conditionally design ones) edit them via a local network (with Corel Draw, Photoshop programs). Do I understand correctly how these editors work? When files are opened (in this case), they are loaded into the RAM of the designer's computer and you can edit them without any problems, and when saving, is it transferred over the network to the server computer? That is, the connection between the "designer" computer and the "server" is carried out only when opening and saving the file? Thank you in advance for your help with Likbez "om

Of course, there is some kind of caching, but I can’t guess the thoughts of Adobe or Corel engineers from afar. It may well be that huge files are not downloaded in their entirety, but are pumped up as needed. Then working with such a file will turn into bumps.
Keep in mind that a gigabit network in terms of speed is about the same as a very lame hard drive.
On the other hand, no one bothers you to fork out for 10Gbit optics
