Will windows 10 still have a license?

I upgraded to win 10, tested it for a couple of days and decided to go back to 7,
pulled out the Windows key first.
Will I be able to install a licensed win 10 with this key in a year?

In my opinion, no. I read that such a "freebie" is issued only for half a year.

By upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, you reserved System Activation. If you do not change the motherboard, then in a year you will be able to install a clean Windows 10 and automatically activate it. Note that you don't need a key.
