Will we replace backbone js today?

I often see that vacancies require knowledge of backbone.js, which is missing.

Apparently at the time of its popularity, everyone built "applications" on it. And rewriting such a large application is already hard.

Questions:
1. Is it worth studying today (regardless of the vacancy)?
2. Will it be replaced today?
3. Is it worth building an application from scratch based on it?
4. Cool technology?

@Gagatyn

  1. There is not much to study there.
  2. There has been a replacement for him for a long time - all sorts of reactions with views.
  3. From scratch, I would not build, but if you don’t know anything else, then, as they say, what to do? =)
  4. Xs. Normal. IMHO, it lags far behind the same react and twist.

I wouldn't specifically teach. Only with an eye to a specific vacancy.

Look at requests for headhunting and freelancing, you will see the real requirements that the customer needs
