Will Vue js work correctly with Bootstrap?

New to Front-End.
Will Vue and Bootstrap work correctly together? If it's trite to first connect Vue and then Css and Js Bootstrap scripts. I tested , everything works. But I would like to know about the pitfalls. What problems might arise?
I know about https://bootstrap-vue.github.io/
But it uses vue components, which I don't need.
In this case, I want to use the previous layout from the real bootstrap.

Bootstrap is a set of styles, it cannot affect the js framework in any way.
