Will the site crash if the content is copied?

As usual, content is pulled from the client (text descriptions of the services provided and product descriptions).
As usual, the site already needs to be launched, so the client suggested for now to transfer the content he liked (description of the services provided) from another site that does not provide services in the region of my client. And the description of the goods is planned to be transferred from the manufacturer's website, which works only with dealers and does not sell online.
The site is brand new, the domain too. How will this affect output? Will it just be lower for basic queries? Is there a chance to be on top of the main queries from your region, where the dealer from whom the description is borrowed does not work?

What region? What is the theme?
In the top 10, such sites take off quietly. It all depends on the competitors. Do they make quality websites?
Well, let's say in my wedding theme only 2 competitors made a high-quality website and under SEO. Accordingly, when I uploaded my site - the text there was also completely copied (I didn’t know anything about SEO at that time), then I took the 3rd position.

Well, the very fact of having unique content is of course important, but it is not the only one. If your site turns out to be more attractive to visitors than the "original", nothing will happen to it. You can always dilute simply copied content with pictures or videos. In general, it is not critical.
