Will the mobile application on the meteor installed from the market be updated when the new version is deployed to the server?

Hypothetical situation:
There is an application on meteor.
There is an apk build uploaded to the playmarket and installed on users' phones.
What happens after the new version is deployed to the server?
Will the application on the phone realize at startup that it needs to download new js / css from the server? Or do you need to release an update in the market? How then to avoid "out of sync"? Do 2nd, 3rd, etc. servers?
